The AMSSM Collaborative Research Network (CRN) is seeking applicants for an at-large opening on the CRN Leadership Committee beginning in April 2024. The mission of the Leadership Committee is to support and grow a collaborative research network that fosters collaborative research and supports AMSSM efforts in advancing patient care through via an established evidence base. The leadership committee is responsible for the strategic operation and activities of the CRN and regularly interacts with each other, active members, leaders of AMSSM and those involved in the larger sports medicine community in their efforts to drive forward the practice of sports medicine through research initiatives.
The current opening is for a junior or senior at-large member. We strive to build a team that reflects the diversity of the community we serve and encourage applications from traditionally underrepresented groups including, but not limited to, women, visible minorities, Indigenous peoples, people identifying as LGBTQ+, veterans, and people with disabilities. Minority: The purpose of the AMSSM minority research grant is to provide research opportunities specifically for historically underrepresented minorities in biomedical research to advance representation across diverse backgrounds and promote health equity in sports medicine research.
