Broad Differential Diagnosis:
Cardiovascular conditions considered included cardiomyopathy (specifically hypertrophic cardiomyopathy), congenital coronary artery anomalies (CAA), arrhythmia or channelopathy, myocarditis, valvular disease or other structural abnormality, exercise-associated collapse.
Possible pulmonology causes include pulmonary hypertension. Endocrine/metabolic causes include exertional heat stroke, exertion-associated hyponatremia, deconditioning, hypoglycemia or other electrolyte abnormality. Possible psychiatric causes include anxiety or panic disorder.
