Lab Studies: No lab studies were performed. Other Studies: A MRI of the brain without contrast was ordered (a previous MRI of the brain without contrast was performed 3 months prior). Ultimately, a total of 3 MRIs of the brain were performed, each 3 months apart. The MRIs all showed the same finding of a stable pattern of mild, bilateral parietal lobe encephalomalacia, likely related to prior head injury, and probable gliosis in the medial aspect of both parietal lobes posteriorly.
