Lab Studies:
CBC, CMP, PT, and PTT were within normal limits.

Other Studies:
Diagnostic US demonstrated a large intramuscular fluid collection within the quadriceps.

Plain radiographs of the femur showed no bony abnormalities or evidence of myositis ossificans.

CTA Pelvis demonstrated a large 11.0 x 6.7 x 16.9 cm fluid collection within the rectus femoris muscle measuring slightly higher than water density consistent with a large intramuscular hematoma. No ongoing bleeding or extravasation was seen. This was contained within the muscle belly.
