Lab Studies: None Other Studies: Initial x-rays of the right foot showed an avulsion fracture of the fifth metatarsal with 3.5 mm of diastasis. Serial x-rays of the right foot showed no callus formation and persistence of diastasis of the fracture. CT of the right foot showed sclerotic borders of the fifth metatarsal fracture consistent with non-union.
