Patient Presentation:
A 28 year old male bobsled brakeman crashed during an international competition training run causing his head to drag along the ice before he was ejected from the bobsled onto the track.

History:
Paramedics initiated cervical spine precautions and transported him by ambulance to a local clinic. The patient complained of pain radiating from the neck to his right arm, headache, and transient leg tingling.

Physical Exam:
Vital signs were normal. His cranial nerves, mental status, strength, sensations, reflexes, and bowel tone were all normal. However, he was tender at the midline of the cervical spine.
