Patient Presentation:
A 26-year old male with left knee pain after a valgus non-contact injury upon landing during a volleyball game.

History:
While jumping to hit the ball, he felt a pop and felt pain upon landing. He was taken to the ER, where he was placed in a knee immobilizer and asked to follow-up with sports medicine. When he was seen by sports medicine 12 days later, he complained of his knee falling off, meaning he had trouble moving his knee at all without severe pain. He rated the pain 7/10 at rest and had to hold it to prevent pain.

Past medical history: The patient sustained a right ACL tear in 2014 with subsequent reconstruction utilizing a patella tendon autograft and partial medial meniscectomy.
