Magnetic resonance imaging was performed of the right hip and thigh. Increased signal was noticed in the proximal femur suggestive of a stress fracture, figure 1 and 2. X-ray of the right proximal femur performed eight weeks after diagnosis confirmed a healed fracture, figure 3.
