From Road Miles To The Tennis Court - A Case Of Lateral Foot Injury With Dual Pathogenesis - Page #3

Lab Studies:
None

Other Studies:
Right foot radiographs demonstrated a cuboid fracture, calcaneal enthesophyte, and degenerative changes of the talonavicular joint. Case Photo #1

Because of concern regarding the radiographic findings, computed tomography of the right foot was obtained. Imaging demonstrated multiple small ossific fragments inferolateral to the cuboid. The largest fragment appeared chronic with possible pseudoarthrosis, while the remaining fragments were age indeterminate.

Additional findings included an age-indeterminate mildly displaced avulsion fracture of the distal cuboid and a possible nondisplaced fracture involving the lateral base of the fourth metatarsal. Case Photo #2 Case Photo #3 Case Photo #4
