Lab Studies:
No ankle x-rays done as he is able to bear weight and does not have point tenderness.

Other Studies:
There was a discussion to send him for CBC and coagulation studies due to concern for underlying bleeding disorder. During the discussion he reports that he has Hemophilia A and has been receiving infusions since he was 10 years old.

Consultations:
Hematology at Penn State was consulted. He has been receiving Advate 3000 international units SubQ every other day for prevention of bleeding due to Hemophilia A diagnosis. Hematology recommended continuing his regular schedule without additional doses.
