Lab Studies:
He was sent to the emergency department for further workup and evaluation. A complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, magnesium level, and thyroid stimulating hormone were normal. Urine toxicology testing was negative.

Other Studies:
An MRI brain with and without contrast demonstrated an enhancing complex cystic and solid mass in the left cerebellar hemisphere, measuring 18mm, along with mild hydrocephalus. Case Photo #1 Case Photo #2 These findings were concerning for a pilocytic astrocytoma.
A CTA head and neck demonstrated no large vessel occlusion or vascular malformation. The cerebellar mass was favored to be a pilocytic astrocytoma based on imaging findings.
Pathology results following neurosurgical resection of the mass came back as hemangioblastoma.
