Aside from the left calf atrophy, the images were normal Case Photo #1 The EMG was read as abnormal, most consistent with a chronic left tibial neuropathy MRI with and without contrast of the left lower extremity: Fusiform dilatation with edema and enhancement of the tibial nerve just distal to the common peroneal nerve takeoff approximately 10 cm superior to the knee joint Measures ~ 3 cm in length Case Photo #2 Case Photo #3 A 1.8 cm questionable second lesion is found approximately 7 cm superior to the knee joint Consultations: Referral to a neurologist, who recommended a tumor biopsy for diagnostic confirmation and management planning.
