Lab Studies:
N/A

Other Studies:
X-ray of the Right knee: Right tibia with mild valgus deformity. Absent fibula Case Photo #1 . No acute fracture or dislocation. Atrophic visualized right lower extremity musculature. MRI of the right knee: Absent ACL Case Photo #2 . This may be related to a chronic tear, or due to aplasia. Diffusely smaller than expected PCL may represent a chronic partial tear, or hypoplasia. Medial meniscus tear. Lateral meniscus tear Case Photo #3 . Small joint effusion and mild synovitis.

Consultations:
Orthopedic surgery was consulted and ACL reconstruction in congenitally absent ACL was discussed. Meniscus tear was thought to be the main pain generator and reason for effusion, so meniscus repair was also discussed.
