Lab Studies:
ESR was mildly elevated. CBC, CMP, CRP, ehrlichia panel and rheumatoid factor were all within normal limits.

Other Studies:
Radiographs of the left knee showed large joint effusion. Case Photo #1 MRI of the left knee showed synovitis with innumerable intra-articular bodies without cartilage, osseous or ligamentous abnormalities. Case Photo #2

Consultations:
The patient was referred to an orthoopaedic oncologist for evaluation of MRI findings.
