Chest x-ray demonstrated no bony abnormalities or acute fractures of the ribs. Magnetic resonance imaging of the chest and right scapulothoracic region was performed.

MRI Impression:
High-grade tear along the anterolateral aspect of the inferior right latissimus dorsi muscle with areas of myotendinous disruption and large fluid collection within the muscle belly suspicious for an intramuscular hematoma
