Lab Studies: Spine radiographs, performed prior to chiropractic care, revealed a relatively straight spine without significant degenerative disease. Other Studies: Cervical spine MRI revealed a right posterolateral disc protrusion, which caused a right lateral recess and foraminal stenosis at C3-C4. The dise protruded further right at C4-C5 in the posterolateral direction and resulted in moderate lateral recess and foraminal stenosis. Most notable on the axial image; Case Photo #2 and sagittal T2 images; Case Photo #3 , Case Photo #4 . There was flattening of the right hemicord and narrowing of the central canal at C4-C5. Case Photo #5 . At C5-C6, there was a left paracentral disc protrusion and annular tear, which abutted the left hemicord and narrowed the central canal. C6-C7 disc space revealed a right paracentral annular tear and disc protrusion, which further narrowed the central canal. Case Photo #6 . T1 images revealed a lack of lordosis of the cervical spine and degenerative changes to the vertebrae. Case Photo #7 .
