Past Presidents and Board Member Featured In Wall Street Journal

The Wall Street Journal and Wall Street Journal TV recently featured Past Presidents Drs. John DiFiori and Paul Stricker as well as Board Member, Dr. Neeru Jayanthi, in simultaneous print and video reports. The print article highlights ways parents can help decrease potential risk for injury in young athletes by setting age-specific time limits. Drs. DiFiori, Jayanthi, and Stricker are all featured and discuss the AMSSM position statement on Overuse Injuries and Burnout in Youth Sports. Dr. Jayanthi was the featured guest on the WSJ TV segment, Lunch Break, where he went more in depth into why young athletes should train in multiple sports.
