The goal of the Bridge Funding for Future Clinical Trial Grant RFP is to provide financial support to investigators to conduct a rigorous study that would provide the necessary data to prepare a research team for future funding to either (1) plan for a clinical trial (e.g., NIH R34) or (2) conduct a clinical trial (numerous potential funding mechanisms). Matching institutional funds are welcomed as additional support to these investigations.
