Other Studies:
X-Ray Lumbar Spine (day of initial presentation):
No evidence of fracture or bone destruction. Degenerative changes w/o dynamic instability.
MRI Lumbar Spine:
Findings compatible with osteomyelitis and discitis at L4-L5 with phlegmon and abscess.
Blood culture: Negative.
Bone Biopsy Culture: Many Actinomyces Neuii
