Application submission is now open for the 2024 Class of AMSSM Fellows. New Fellows will be announced to the AMSSM membership after the first of the year and honored at the 2024 Annual Meeting.

The AMSSM National Fellow Online Lecture Series features talks from national experts on fundamental sports medicine topics pertinent to fellowship training and sports medicine board certification. Go to the collaborate.amssm.org site and view the available lectures in the Upcoming Events area.
The investigator team of the Outcomes Registry for Cardiac Conditions in Athletes (ORCCA) study recetly led an informational webinar. The team provided a background and overview of the study, introduced study procedures and shared information about how to help enroll potential athletes in the study.

Young Investigator: The purpose of this grant is to foster original scientific investigations by members of AMSSM in the early stages of their careers. A young investigator is defined as 5 years or less since completion of their sports medicine fellowship training.
Application Deadline: October 6, 2023 at 5p ET
Foundation: The purpose of this grant is to foster original scientific investigations by members of AMSSM. Primary investigators must be AMSSM members. Residents and fellows are eligible to apply, but they must have at least one full AMSSM member listed as a co-investigator on the application.
