Working Diagnosis:
Right hip acetabular dysplasia, right acetabular labral tear, and cam-type FAI. Left hip acetabular dysplasia and cam-type FAI.

Treatment:
First surgery: right periacetabular osteotomy, right osteochondroplasty, and right labral repair.
(6 months later)
Second surgery: left periacetabular osteotomy, left osteochondroplasty, and left labral repair.

Outcome:
After just over four months, the patient was back playing competitive golf pain free for her senior season, statistically her best season where she set personal records.

Author's Comments:
The work of Menge et al., Degen et al., and Heyworth et al. showed the high return to play rates of amateur, professional and competitive athletes in various sports after hip preservation surgeries. However, these articles did not specifically address golf, and the information regarding return to play in golfers after hip preservation surgery is limited.
