Three view bilateral knee X-ray revealed no fractures, mild degenerative changes in left knee, and bilateral knee effusions. Case Photo #1 Case Photo #2 Case Photo #3
MRI without contrast revealed bilateral almost complete high-grade partial tears of the quadriceps tendons, partial tear of the ACLs, lateral displacement of the vastus lateralis tendons, laxity of patellar tendons, and low lying patellas. There were also contusions of the left lateral femoral condyle and ventral patella, as well as contusion of the right ventral patella. Case Photo #4 Case Photo #5
