1. 3-view radiographs of the right knee: there is a joint effusion without signs of a fracture, dislocation, or other skeletal or soft tissue abnormalities.
2. MRI right knee: mild edema around the lateral collateral ligament and popliteus tendon. No meniscal tears appreciated. ACL and PCL intact. Case Photo #1
3. Arthroscopy of the right knee: Longitudinal tear of the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus in the area of the popliteal hiatus. The meniscus was easily displaced into the lateral compartment with movement. Case Photo #2 Case Photo #3
