Lab Studies:
CBC w/ differential, CMP, ESR, CRP all normal.
Urine pregnancy test negative.
Urinalysis normal.
Community GI panel: Positive for Plesiomonas shigelloides; otherwise negative.
Celiac panel negative.

Other Studies:
Abdominal xray: Moderate stool burden and non-obstructive bowel gas pattern.
CT abdomen/pelvis: Normal.
Colonoscopy: Friable, erythematous mucosa in distal rectum. Otherwise normal.
Biopsy pathology report: "Colonic mucosa showing chronic architectural changes and acute inflammation consistent with ulcerative colitis. No dysplasia."

Consultations:
Consults were undertaken with gastroenterology, sports nutritionists, sports dieticians, sports physicians, and sports psychologists.
