Lab Studies:
All labwork was normal except for a positive HIV test.
Other Studies:
X-ray right shoulder: No fractures. No osteoarthritis.
MRI right shoulder: Mild atrophy and fatty infiltration of supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscles. Marked acromioclavicular joint osteoarthritis and mild supraspinatus tendinosis was noted.
MRI cervical spine: Moderate bilateral neural foraminal narrowing involving C5-C6 and C6-C7 without central spinal canal stenosis.
Nerve conduction study: Right median sensory response off the lateral thumb exhibited diminished amplitude possibly related to upper trunk brachial plexopathy.
Electromyography: Consistent with right upper trunk brachial plexopathy.
