Right Quadriceps US: Hyperechoic, heterogeneous ovoid region with well-circumscribed borders and a compressible rim seen best in short axis. Case Photo #1 Hyperemia visualized on power Doppler. Case Photo #2

MRI: High grade tear of rectus femoris involving central indirect bipennate component at mid femoral diaphysis. Case Photo #3 There was an area of blood products and partial muscle fibers retracted approximately 5.4cm. Case Photo #4
