Lab Studies:
CBC, CMP within normal limits

Other Studies:
Portable chest radiographs demonstrated subcutaneous emphysema on the left side of the neck but otherwise unremarkable exam.

CT chest with contrast demonstrated post-traumatic pneumomediastinum that extended into the neck with no pneumothorax or definitive underlying fractures. There was no evidence of hematoma, esophageal extravasation or aortic tear. Case Photo #1 Case Photo #2
