Other Studies: X ray of the left knee and hip showed a lucent area along the epiphyseal plate of the greater trochanter. MRI of the hip showed well-circumscribed lucent lesion adjacent to the torchanteric physis. There was evidence of edema surrounding the lesion which measured 1.7 cm in diamter.
