Lab Studies: None Other Studies: Right Forearm EMG: No evidence of muscle denervation associated with right forearm bulge. Right Forearm Radiograph: Unremarkable radiographic appearance of the right forearm. Right Forearm MRI: Initially read as normal. After 2nd review with MSK Radiologist and Hand Surgeon: There is an accessory muscle on the volar aspect of the forearm most consistent with a reverse palmaris longus. This inverted configuration with the muscle belly located distally, results in pronounced musculature near the wrist. It has a digastric configuration. There is no abnormal fluid signal or STIR signal within the muscle to suggest compartment syndrome or soft tissue mass.
