1. Simple right hip effusion with no soft tissue spread or osteomyelitis
2. distal femoral diaphyseal lesion noted incompletely visualized approximately 2.5 cm in size. suspicious for osteoid osteoma or bone contusion. slight asymmetrical cortical thickening. no perisoteal edema.
follow-up out-patient X-ray of the femur shows a small focus on the posterior cortical margin of the femur suspicious for osteoid osteoma.
