AMSSM Endorses Statement: Calling Crown of Helmet Violations		Back
A statement released Monday, August 12, 2013 by NATA, entitled "Calling Crown of the Helmet Violations," seeks to prevent injuries to the head, neck and spine in football athletes by encouraging strict adherence--by coaches, game officials and administrators--to call penalties for helmet safety violations. The statement specifically addresses instances when the top of the head is used. AMSSM Immediate Past President Dr. Jonathan Drezner served as the sponsoring member who signed onto the statement demonstrating AMSSM's support. Click Here to read the statement.
