Patient Presentation:
47 year old female with one week of left lateral foot pain following fall while running.

History:
47 year old Persian female, presents to clinic with one week of left lateral foot pain after a fall. Patient was running and sustained a forced plantar flexion and eversion while falling. There was immediate onset of pain and subacute swelling. She had significantly limited weight-bearing due to pain. There is no prior history of injury or pain in this area. The patient has no chronic medical conditions.

Physical Exam:
Left Foot: Ecchymosis and soft tissue swelling over lateral and dorsal foot. Tenderness at base of 4th and 5th metatarsals and cuboid. Passive range of motion painful with inversion and eversion. Active range of motion is painful with resisted plantar flexion and eversion. Neurovascular intact. Unable to fully weight-bear due to pain.
