History: A 21 year old male football player presented with 3 months of dyspnea and chest pain. Of note, he had just completed a 14-day quarantine after a positive COVID-19 test upon return from Spring Break. His initial ECG showed atrial flutter. Cardiology was consulted and the patient was started on metoprolol and apixaban. Cardioversion was recommended at that time but due to the patient testing positive for COVID-19 again, cardioversion was delayed for after his two-week quarantine. Ten days after cardioversion, the patient presented with dyspnea and chest pain again. ECG this time showed sinus arrhythmia with frequent atrial ectopy.
