Patient Presentation:
A 53 year old female presents with 4 months of left groin pain.

History:
The pain started suddenly while doing lunges at the gym. Since the initial injury, she has had constant pain with varying levels of intensity. The pain is aggravated by butterfly stretch and resting the leg on edge of bath tub. Temporary relief occurs with rest, ice, and anti-inflammatories.

Physical Exam:
Left leg is tender to palpation at the adductor longus insertion and along the iliopsoas.
+thomas test. Stiff single joint hip flexion, lacking 10 degrees.
Normal gait. Weak gluteal strength.
