No initial lab studies were obtained.

Other Studies:
Right shoulder X-rays were unremarkable in the office. MRI revealed non-specific expansion of the right subclavian and axillary veins. Subsequent doppler ultrasound and venography showed extensive thrombus nearly occluding the entire subclavian, axillary, brachial, and basilica veins. Case Photo #1 Case Photo #2 Case Photo #3

Consultations:
The patient was admitted to a tertiary care pediatric hospital and followed by hematology and orthopedic surgery. His thrombophilia work up was negative.
