An x-ray of the right foot was repeated and showed interval progression in sclerosis and flattening of the 2nd metatarsal head compared to the outside x-ray done in 2011 and was suspicious for Freiberg's infraction. Case Photo #1 A follow up MRI of the right foot was performed and it showed flattening, subchondral sclerosis, chronic full-thickness chondral loss and osteochondral abnormality of the 2nd metatarsal head consistent with Freiberg's infraction.
