Other Studies:
Plain radiography of the hip, AP Case Photo #1 and Frog leg Case Photo #2 lateral, shows a 1.1 x 3.9 cm amorphous curvilinear ossification of the anterior lateral hip capsule. Mild bilateral hip osteoarthritis, right greater then left. No evidence of fracture or dislocation. Hip ultrasonography Case Photo #3 shows an oval-shaped hyperechoic focus of the rectus femoris muscle distal to the AIIS.
