Christina Master, MD and Siobhan Statuta, MD will join Dr. Putukian on the trip that will include stops and presentations throughout New Zealand.

“I am thrilled and very honored to have the opportunity to share this upcoming experience with Siobhan and Tina,” Dr. Putukian said. “I couldn’t think of a better representation of our AMSSM membership, and I look forward to learning from them during our travels.”

Dr. Master, MD is a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and is a pediatric and adolescent primary care sports medicine specialist, certified in brain injury medicine, as well as an academic general pediatrician, at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. “I am so honored and excited to be representing AMSSM, especially with such an outstanding group of women,” Dr. Master said.

In addition, she serves as the Director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship and teaches residents and medical students on a daily basis.

“This has been a dream of mine and I cannot actually believe that it’s true,” Dr. Statuta said. “This trip will certainly be fantastic and I am so very humbled to have been selected. I look forward to representing the AMSSM, fully absorbing this experience, and enjoying the life-long friendships that ensue.”
